Ham Pot Pie

The recipe im sharing today is for 1 full sized ham pot pie since im actually recommending you never make miniature pot pies or at least not 500 of them this recipe has been jazzed up just a bit to include some fresh onion garlic and celery along with fresh herbs to keep this pot pie as easy to make as possible.

1 cup chopped carrots.

Ham pot pie. Add dough to slowly. Boil to make ham broth. On floured counter top roll dough well.

Add ham potatoes and onion in stock. Teaspoon baking powder. Cut into 4 rounds with 5 inch cookie cutter.

Whisk in beef stock until thoroughly incorporated. Drop dumplings in slowly and consistently. Roll to 12 inch circle.

Drop the pot pie squares into the simmering stock. Directions place ham in large pot and cover with water. In a sauce pan over medium high heat melt butter and saute onion until onions are soft about 5 minutes.
